The Working at Height Course
Working at Height is the biggest cause of major accidents in the workplace; therefore the risks need to be managed correctly.
This theory based course for managers and employees, is designed to give a general overview of the Working at Height Regulations, bringing existing legislation together into a risk based course, and is not specific to any one industry or environment.
(This can be lengthened or tailored to meet specific needs).
Aim
To give managers and employees an awareness of the dangers of Working at Height and plan these activities in line with current legislation. (Please note this is a theory based course only and will not cover the practical instruction of fall protection equipment).
Duration
The duration of the course is ½ day for up to 6 students. Scaffold tower erection can be incorporated and take the course to a day duration for 6 persons.
Venue
Can be carried out at our training venue at South View Farm or at an employer’s premises.
Assessment
At the end of the course students will undergo a formal written test on all theoretical subjects covered.

Dependant on course duration and number of attendees.
