The Counter Balance FLT Course
The Industrial Counterbalance Lift Truck course is designed for the operator who requires theoretical and practical instruction, at basic level, in operating a Lift Truck in an industrial or warehouse environment.
It is also applicable to those experienced operators who require refresher training.

Duration
The duration of the course is between 1 – 5 days dependent on experience with a maximum training ratio of 3 students to 1 instructor. (See Training Info).
Venue
Can be carried out at our training venue at South View Farm or at an employer’s premises. (Trucks over 5t rated capacity must be done at an employer’s premises). (See Training Info).
Assessment
At the end of the course students will undergo a formal written test on all theoretical subjects covered and a practical assessment on their basic skills. The assessment covers driving through a chicane and picking up loads from low level, eye level and high level.
